I'm in looooooove September 9, 2007 Reviewer:  MB (Phoenix, az)  See all my reviews >

This blender is amazing. Takes a little caressing to get it going with big nasty ice cubes, but add enough liquid (not a ton) and it will make you the best smoothie you have ever had!

Crushes ice (I did not have a single chunk in my smoothie... used to have to smash ice with a hammer on the counter when i used my old blender and i STILL had chunks!!), did indeed have a "pulling down" motion to keep it moving without user assistance, and made an awesome consistency all the way through. I am used to getting to the bottom of my smoothies and drinking nasty soy-protien-and-yogurt-goop. Not this time!!! It was smooth and icy all througout.

So its loud, who cares? If you go to a smoothie store you'll notice you can hardly hear yourself think... thats because it takes power to make a good one! Your tastebuds will thank you!

Very nice for the price July 22, 2007 Reviewer:  naplessuperfonman "Howie T" (Naples, FL, USA)  See all my reviews >

I bought this blender July 21st 2007 and brought it home hoping it would work as stated. I've made smoothies every night for our family for years.
I must have used 15 blenders and I'm telling you I've never had one that was not loud, IT'S BLENDING ICE!
Anyway, It was awesome, ten times better than the $60 blender I purchased.
I would buy this blender as a gift for someone, it is awesome, perfect for smoothie makers. You will love how ez it pours into your glass.

Remarkably effective at crushing ice December 2, 2008 Reviewer:  Paul D. Carlucci Real Name (Wesley Chapel, FL)  See all my reviews >

We've all hated blenders that only crush the ice that's immediately near the blade and that's it. You poke at it to get things moving again, but eventually you give up and just live with chewing the marble-sized pieces of ice in your drink. This isn't one of those blenders.

This blender manages a flow of ice through the blades, smoothly and evenly chopping the ice. It actually works as advertised which is a pretty exciting feature if you ask me. On top of that, the spout is removable and easily disassembled for easy cleanup. You can easily swap out the spout for a plug if you don't need it.

Inevitable you'll drip a dollop of icy beverage onto the top of the blender. Normally you'd be left wishing you could toss the base into the dishwasher as you try to cram a paper towel into the base to clean it up, only to leave bits of crud in the corners. Instead, the silver-colored plastic bib pops off to be rinsed off.

Yes it's loud, but it's a blender. I'd rather have a loud blender that works than a useless blender that is merely noisy.

Everybody RUN!!!!!!!!!!! She's going to BLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! August 26, 2007 Reviewer:  Wendy M (Austin, TX)  See all my reviews >

This was the loudest blender I have ever heard. My daughter went running screaming through the house as we were trying to make a smoothie. THe dog and cat made a quick escape from the kitchen, too.

It worked, but took a LONG time to get the frozen fruit blended and it incorporated so much air into the mixture that is tasted warm and foamy with random cold spots. I am washing it and taking it right back to the store.

I love my blender! August 4, 2007 Reviewer:  Miss Margarita (Lancaster, CA)  See all my reviews >

I was blending margaritas in my osterizer when it died. I went out the next day to find a replacement and stumbled upon this one. I was happy to pay 100 or more to find one that would blend well but I checked out watts which equals more power and found this one with 700 watts for only $40 and I love it! no more chunks in my margaritas and the spout is great. The only thing about the spout is it clogs up with thick drinks so worse case you end up pouring the old fashion way. It is loud i cant lie about that but it crushes whole ice cubes well. with my old blender i had to put crushed ice from the fridge to get it to blend well but this one handles whole ice cubes with no problem. If you're looking for a good blender that will crush ice I would definetly suggest this one.

Horrible Blender November 26, 2008 Reviewer:  Mike Jones See all my reviews >

The one star was not my idea. This thing is ZERO, I meant a big zero times a star which is equal zero stars!!! The knife did the blending while stiring and the blender made noise more than WWII. Beware. Target knows, the problem with the blender. If you were to try to return they will tell you 8.75 which I think is generous. They don't carry in store for a reason and it is to avoid a riot. Notice it is only available online!!!

Very dissapointed April 16, 2008 Reviewer:  Rhonda See all my reviews >

I bought this blender yesterday and Im returning it today. Its horrible. It claims to blend smoothies but you have to use a spoon to push the ice into the blade. The pour spout is a nice feature if the smoothie accually came out of it.
I wouldnt recommend this item to anyone

EXTREMLY LOUD! February 18, 2008 Reviewer:  DeafThanksToMyBlender See all my reviews >

I got this on sale, so it's not at all bad for the price. If you can tolerate the sound. It is EXTREMLY BEYOND INSANELY LOUD! My cat was too scrared to even run from the sound.

It did however work very well.

I would recomend it if the loudness does not bother you.

This is a GREAT item. August 20, 2007 Reviewer:  M. Rutenberg Real Name See all my reviews >

I've used this for several months now...not one complaint! It's fast and reliable. I'll probably be giving these as Christmas presents this year.

Lawnmower Blender July 16, 2007 Reviewer:  J. Johnson Real Name (south florida)  See all my reviews >

I purchased this blender and returned it after one use. It was the loudest blender I have ever heard in my life and I'm a smoothie maker and purchaser. It did not blend well at all. I tried to make a smoothie, with a reasonable amount of liquid and it took forever and killed my eardrums. I definitely do not recommend this blender.

Look at the consumer report, there is an Oster one on there. I spent $40 more and bought the Cuisinart Smartpower Duo that also has a food processor attachment and loooove it.
